Vinyl & Labels Application Guide

1. Prepare the Surface

Before applying your vinyl, ensure the surface is smooth, clean, and completely dry. Wipe the area using water only and allow it to dry fully. Avoid soaps, detergents, or cleaning products that may leave behind residue.

2. Prepare the Vinyl

Wash and dry your hands before handling the decal. Carefully separate the backing paper from the vinyl while keeping the transfer tape attached. Peel slowly to avoid stretching or tearing the design.

If any part of the vinyl stays attached to the backing paper, press it back down, rub firmly over the area, and try again gently.

3. Position and Apply

Place the design onto the surface in your chosen position. Start applying from the middle of the decal and work outward to help prevent wrinkles or bubbles.

Using a flat object such as a bank card or squeegee, press firmly across the entire design to secure the vinyl evenly.

4. Remove the Transfer Tape

Slowly peel away the transfer tape at an angle, working from top to bottom. If any part of the vinyl lifts during removal, press it back down firmly and continue peeling gently.

5. Finishing Touches

Smooth out any remaining air bubbles by rubbing outward from the centre. For best results, leave the vinyl undisturbed for up to 24 hours so the adhesive can fully bond to the surface.
